5 new manuscripts on MARK16 MR and new GA 2937 folios

MARK16 is proud to announce the publication of 5 new manuscripts with folios of Mk 16 in Latin (VL 16 by Elisa Nury), Coptic (sa 474 by Anne Boud’hors and Sofia Torallas Tovar), Syriac (syH4 by Albert Frey and Sara Schulthess), Classical Ethiopic (Eth 4 by Damien Lababie) and Georgian, new language (geo 2 by Bernard Outtier). We are very grateful to all these colleagues! Last but not least, 3 new folios of GA 2937, with Mark commentary, are available with an English translation thanks to Mina Monier.  Just take a look at https://mr-mark16.sib.swiss

The manuscript room is a collective work, and we are particularly grateful to Mina Monier, Jonathan Barda, and our Core-IT colleagues Silavano Alda and Vassilios Ioannidis for all their work on that!

MARK16 update: Codex Bobbiensis article, and 2 new manuscripts online

MARK16 is proud to announce the publication of a ZNT article on Codex Bobbiensis, with a particular thanks to Prof. Dr. Manuel Vogel for the German translation:

Moreover, Mk 16 in syS and sa 366 are now published on our manuscript room: https://mr-mark16.sib.swiss. All our recognition goes to David Taylor, Anne Boud’hors and Mina Monier for this work!

In late August, these manuscripts  will be also released : syH4 (Albert Frey and Sara Schulthess), geo 2 (Bernard Outtier), Eth 4 (Damien Labadie) and the complete commentary on Mk 16 in GA 2937, f. 93-95r (Mina Monier). Welcome to Elisa Nury in the MARK16 team

The SNSF MARK16 project is very pleased to welcome Elisa Nury from the 1st of July as team member.

From February 2020 to June 2021, Elisa has worked at DH+ in the H2020 project OPERAS-P, leading the writing of a team article and gathering data in interviews, with the collaboration of Vera Chiquet (DaSCH). The report of the project is available on Zenodo (http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.5017705), and the research data have been published on Nakala: https://operas-p.nakala.fr

Elisa is now joining the SNSF project MARK16: we are happy to welcome in the team her numerous skills, as Latinist and DHer. The team is now composed of Claire Clivaz (PI), Mina Monier (Post-doc), Elisa Nury (Research Scientist) and Jonathan Barda (Software developer).
